Covid -19 has changed everyone’s lives and we have taken steps to ensure yours and our wellbeing.
Apologies but here is a list FOR YOUR INFORMATION..
…... IT IS IMPORTANT SO PLEASE READ…..
A house can never be sterilised but be confident we have disinfected your room using protocol suggested products and guidelines. To help implement these new regimes, you will now need to leave by 0930 hrs and check in will be from 1600 hrs to allow us time to clean before the next guest.
Remember, you bring whatever germs you have been in contact with, so for this reason these are our new practices. This is to ensure the safety of other guests and your hosts.
If you have been in contact with someone with Covid, or suspect you have symptoms, we ask that you do NOT come. If you start feeling ill whilst here, you will be asked to return to your home as we will not be able to accommodate you
If for whatever reason you are unable to leave due to illness you will be liable for additional costs…room hire , food etc PLUS it will be your responsibility to pay the additional costs if we have to find other accommodation for prior confirmed bookers (if said accommodation is more expensive)
In the entrance foyer is a hand sanitiser…please use BEFORE touching the front door handle or bell to enter the premises. Please ensure you wear a mask when entering and in all open spaces , corridors etc. You are not obliged to wear a mask in your bedroom or the dining room when partaking of breakfast.
There will also be sanitiser and gloves (if you wish to use) on reception desk which must be used before entering dining room or doing payment. You are encouraged to wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds whilst in your bedroom. Single use toiletries plus pump soap and bar of soap are provided.
All extra bedding, soft furnishings and utensils have been removed from the bedroom. If you need anything additional, please just let us know. The hospitality tray will only be stocked with the quantity of items needed for your stay. You are welcome to ask for more. Unused items will be discarded.
If you are staying more than one night, we WILL NOT service your room. Instead, the appropriate amount of bin bags and crockery will be left in your room prior to arrival. When leaving each morning, please leave your used bin bag sealed and any used crockery outside your door.
On checkout day, please open the window when you leave. We will not enter for the recommended 3 hrs before cleaning/disinfecting. Staff will wear gloves, masks and aprons.
All Linen will be changed on departure and washed at 60 deg. All iron-able items are ironed using our press on high temperature.
The room will be cleaned and sanitised according to Government protocols (damp dusting, all washable surfaces washed with soap solution and all areas sprayed with virus disinfectant and allowed to dry) Special attention will be given to All areas / items that are likely to be touched. These areas include:
|Door / drawer handles||Stair rails|
|Light switches||TV remotes|
|Kettle and coffee makers||Hairdryer|
|Dressing table||Bedside table & lamps|
|All bathroom surfaces especially loo, taps and shower doors||Bed frames|
Payment will be taken on day of arrival so please ensure you have given valid credit card details prior to arrival so we can process. Your receipt will be emailed electronically to you.
With the new social distancing, only 2 sets of guests at a time can be in the dining room so you will be allocated a time slot best suited to your preferred times. We will be unable to serve loose cereals / yogurt. Milk sugar butters and jams will be on individual tables. Cooked meals will be placed on a separate table for you to collect. This enables appropriate distancing. Staff will be wearing appropriate PPE.
We are sorry that this sounds terribly impersonal, but rest assured we will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible…as we did before COVID-19.
